Whereas Biblical teachings inspired concepts of civil government that are contained in our Declaration of Independence and the constitution of the United States;
Whereas many of our great national leaders?among them Presidents Washington, Jackson, Lincoln, and Wilson?paid tribute to the surpassing influence of the Bible in our country's development, as the words of President Jackson that the Bible is ?the rock on which our Republic rests?; Whereas the history of our Nation clearly illustrates the value of voluntarily applying the teachings of the Scriptures in the lives of individuals, families, and societies; Whereas this Nation now faces great challenges that will test this Nation as it has never been tested before; and Whereas that renewing our knowledge of and faith in God through Holy Scripture can strengthen us as a nation and a people: Now, therefore, be it Resolved by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the President is authorized and requested to designate 1983 as a national ?Year of the Bible? in recognition of both the formative influence the Bible has been for our Nation, and our national need to study and apply the teachings of the Holy Scriptures. Dear Brother Bill, after what you said about the president Obama, it got me thinking. He said the United States of America is not a Christian or Jew or Muslim country but a nation of citizens or something along them kind of lines. Only Christian?s believe in the Bible don?t they? Jews would only go with the Old Testament and Muslims ant all that happy about it. So if a man said I believe the Holy Bible was the word of ?God? would that be saying he was a Christian?
Imagine only 25 years ago when the US believed that the Bible was the Word of God! In the intervening years much mayhem has happened. He knows looking at any kind of pornographic material is classed as adultery (not that I am claiming you do this stuff dear brother Bill, I know you are a good man). He knows he must love and obey Yahweh. The point is Raul stop telling us your judgement. Why don?t you put up what you do each day so we can smack you around the head with the Bible? Or the parts you have been told is true any way. Sorry Raul but you sound like a broken record from an old church. Repent, obey the church, pay your tithing, and buy your get out of hell redemption certificate here, OR YOU WILL BURN IN THE PIT OF HELL. YOU WILL BURN FOREVER, YOUR EYES WILL BURN, YOUR HAIR WILL BURN, AND ALL OF YOUR BODY WILL ALWAYS BURN. Unless you obey the church or in your case Sherry. Wake up son as it?s getting a bit thin. How many bibles do you hand out? Do you go on to Sherry site and get a prayer list each day and pray for the sick? Does she even have one? How many people have you baptised? Just what is it you do other than complain that we are not enlightened to the prophet Sherry? Are you a Christian at all Raul? You haven?t read the Bible, you think some of its lies, you don?t seem to resemble a Christian at all. You only listen to one person no matter what. Only that person can teach you the real meaning of scripture. Only by having a peace of resin with crystals can protect you. You don?t go out to homeless and poor and give them help, you don?t give out bibles, you don?t have a prayer list. Pal you need to take a look at what you are doing. You say wake up, well wake up your self. Walk the road the Messiah did. Help others, even non believers pal, spread the news of the Messiah, and not condemnation to every persons on this site.

The Progress of the Gospel
But lest you get discouraged, the gospel is progressing. There are more Christians in the world now than ever before. In the 1700's less than 20% of the American population went to church where now it is above 50%. More people have heard the gospel than ever before, and Bibles are produced en masse and being sent to nations all over the world with unprecedented reception. The Gospel is preached on Television and Radio. Millions are coming to Messiah in third world countries and a new Christian awakening is working its way through Russia and Africa with China becoming the new Christian frontier. Nevertheless, the Christian community has a great deal of work left to accomplish. To fully carry out the mandate of winning the world for Messiah, Christians must adopt a biblical world view in all aspects of life and present to the world, biblical perspectives on every niche of our existence. This includes everything: education, medicine, the arts, politics, science, contemporary issues, ethics, and more. But like we often see people get lead away from the truth Raul, the truth is the Messiah Yahushua. If you cannot embrace him as the authority over all of us, our master and teacher, just who is being misled Raul? Sherry in to the light and the way, Yahushua is. You need to stop and think before you preach. Ok brother Bill likes some cartoon, so? Is it not his home? Is he not the head of that home? He has free will Raul; brother Bill claims to be a Christian. He must have a Bible in his home. So it?s all up to him. He knows his sins are transferred to his children if he does not repent.
The News is extremely biased and when speaking in areas where religious and secular morals collide, it uniformly presents information with loaded words. Instead of "pro-life" we hear "anti-abortion rights." Instead of "conservative" it is "right wing fundamentalist." Other words are used such as "Bible thumpers," "censorship," "intolerance," "bigoted," etc.
"According to the Centre for Media and Public Affairs, the average TV watcher sees 14,000 references to sex and the average child "watches 8,000 murders and 100,000 acts of violence by the end of elementary school." Illegitimacy is on the rise. In 1970 babies born out of wedlock were 10% of all births. In 1991, it was 30%. Rape is increasing as is violent crime, venereal disease, drug usage, and prison populations. In many American schools the "Impressions" series is promoting the New Age and the occult. Some programs have students being taught that they alone are the ones who should decide if drug use is good or bad. Many school textbooks teach anti-family values, promote homosexuality, teach moral relativism, encourage sexual conduct, and, of course, instill evolution as a fact. In addition, they condemn the notion of a Christian Elohim even being mentioned. Consider the following: "When 10-year old Raymond Raines bowed his head and silently said grace over lunch in a St. Louis public school cafeteria, he was placed in detention for a week and told that he must eat in a room by himself if he continued to pray. "When 30 Texas high school students gathered to pray at the flagpole before school one morning, the principal politely told them not only to leave, but to pray out of sight. "In Illinois, a high school principal sent police to break up a similar prayer group. Two students were arrested." Obviously, America (and the world) is in desperate need of the life changing gospel of Yahushua.
Raul there is more to living as a good Christian than repeating one women?s views. I am sure brother Bill would agree with me. The world view is a set of presuppositions and beliefs that someone uses to interpret and form opinions about his humanity, purpose in life, duties in the world, responsibilities to family, interpretation of truth, social issues, etc. A Christian should view all these things, and more, guided by the light that is shed upon them by the Bible.
The Bible has much to say about the nature of man, the world, purpose, truth, morality, etc., and so does the world. More often than not, the secular worldview is in conflict with the biblical one. For example: Where the world asserts that man evolved, the Bible says he was created and ultimately responsible to Yahweh. Where the world says that morals are relative, the Bible says they are absolute. Where the world says that there is no need of salvation and redemption, the Bible clearly states that all people are in need of deliverance from their sin. The contrast is obvious and profound. Both cannot be true. The secular world exalts man to the apex of evolutionary development, the sovereign over all he dominates, though only another animal. Yahweh is relegated to the belief systems of the uneducated and superstitious. Such opposing views will clash. The Condition of Society The fruit of the secular world view can be seen in around us. As we observe society, it is evident that not all is well. Television has degenerated into a bordello of violence, soft-pornography, anti-family sit-coms, commercials that appeal to immediate gratification, and senseless children's cartoons that are full of violence, occultism, and disobedience to parents. It often portrays pastors as psychotics, priests as pedophiles, and religious people as insecure, ignorant, and bigoted.
I even have a you tube video that proves ufos are real and that they do crash go to ufo crash (high quality) on you tube. That is the roswell ufo that crash in the yr 1947 which they say was a balloon.
When their has been a lot of evidence that proves that this aliens do exist.
no so then how is it that just because your eyes dont see this aliens you can say that they are not there.
So if your eyes dont see god in front of you does that make him non existent.
I get that we should have at least a little bit of sense of humor but that's why you should be careful what kind of sense of humor you like to view on t.v because me as a christian dont really like any of that crap that you like watching specially that family guy i mean how can you watch that garbage and laugh at that nonsense.
I love you! You are a great dad. The kids love it when we do the "Little words of God" with them before bed. Can we do that every night? Family time is so precious & priceless!
Hi Bill, I like what you bring to the show pal. I think playing a video game with rock music is one of the last things a Christian should be worrying about. Unless you are cranking up ACDC and screaming out "I'am on a highway to hell!" LOL All jokes aside pal, keep up the good work.
